From the press release of the California Shakespeare Festvial:

"I am thrilled to have Lisa back directing one of Shakespeare's most beautiful plays. She is one of our country's most intelligent and talented directors, as was evidenced in her 2000 production of Love's Labour's Lost," says Artistic Director Jonathan Moscone. "Audiences are in for an added treat as they will be brought from the coolly elegant, refined world of Sicilia, situated on the stage of the Bruns Amphitheater, to the colorful, party world of Bohemia, located out in the lobby of our Theater, set against the backdrop of nature and featuring nearly thirty young performers from through out the Bay Area. I can't think of a more theatrically exciting way to bring Bohemia to life and to celebrate the uniqueness of our great space."

The Winter's Tale's artistic team reunites Ms. Peterson with many of the artists from her 2000 production of Love's Labour's Lost at Cal Shakes, including scenic designer Kate Edmunds, costume designer Meg Neville, composer Gina Leishman, as well as lighting designer Alexander V. Nichols, sound designer Cliff Caruthers, and choreographer Eric Kupers. The cast includes Nina Auslander, Myla Balugay, L. Peter Callender, Téana David, Colman Domingo, Sean Haberle, Stephanie Roth Haberle, Dan Hiatt, Warren David Keith, Domenique Lozano, Joan Mankin, Andy Murray, Brennan Pickman-Thoon, David Ryan Smith, and Sky Soleil. Also featured are Michael Brusasco, Elias Escobedo, Mary McGloin, Adam Rosenblatt, Megan Smith, and thirty young dancers and performers from throughout the Bay Area.
